As a young Indian girl born in America, I used to struggle with finding my identity. 

It took me many years to realize that I didn’t need to choose between Indian culture and American culture. I had the honor and joy of belonging to both!

I love the vibrancy of my Indian roots - the celebrations, the food, the music, and the sincere gratitude for all that life brings.

I also love being an American. I value my place in the vast melting pot, and feel fortunate that my family and I have the opportunity to carve our own paths of what it means to be American.

Before the inception of Decor Marigold, I found myself struggling to find household items that worked well with both of my cultures. I craved things that were modern with a hint of Desi flare without compromising on quality and functionality. After receiving similar feedback from friends and family, I started to realize that there was a real need for this happy medium - household items that were practical for an American Indian home.
